Joan Massagué

For his important contribution to research in the fight against cancer and his significant international work. He is currently the most famous Spanish scientist beyond our borders,serving as Chairman of the Cancer Biology and Genetics Programme of the Sloan-Kettering Institute in New York, and member of the National Academy of Sciences of the United States, among other posts.
