Isabel Coixet
For being one of the most renowned Spanish film directors and screenwriters in Spain and around the world, having been featured in the world’s most important international film festivals and won numerous awards. Her international success came in 2003 with the personal drama My Life Without Me (Mi vida sin mí). She has since worked on numerous projects, such as the collective project Paris, je t’aime (2005), the content of one of the Spanish pavilion’s three rooms at the Shanghai World Expo (2010), and as the director of the documentary Spain in a Day (2015-2016).
