Carolina Marín

For being a benchmark in the history of Spanish athletics and one of the most recognized Spanish athletes in Asia. At the age of only 21, she became Europe’s youngest world champion, and in 2014, she rose to number one in the world, a feat not accomplished by a European player since 2010. She is a badminton player and competes in the women’s singles category. She has been an Olympic Champion at Rio de Janeiro 2016, a two-time World Champion (2014 and 2015), and four-time European Champion (2014, 2016, 2017 and 2018). In addition, she has won two Premier Super Series as well as the All England Open and the Malaysia Open, both in 2015.
