José Pariente

Bodegas José Pariente is a family winery located in the Appellation of Origin (D.O.) Rueda, founded in 1998 by winemaker Victoria Pariente.

The history of the winery goes back to the 1960’s when the winegrower José Pariente started to make craft white wines from the native grape Verdejo, from his own vineyard in Rueda. His desire to make great white wines is the aim of the current generation, being her daughter Victoria Pariente the founder of the winery in 1998. Nowadays, Victoria’s children, Martina and Ignacio Prieto Pariente, leads the winery with the same enthusiasm and devotion as their ancestors.

Bodegas José Pariente keeps a clear roadmap: innovation and technology, respect for the vineyard and commitment to sustainability, and R&D projects.

The six white wines we make are a tribute to José Pariente, renewed each year in each vintage. The winery produces a range four Verdejo varietal wines (José Pariente Verdejo, José Pariente Barrel Fermented, José Pariente Cuvée Especial and Finca Las Comas) and two Sauvignon Blanc wines (José Pariente Sauvignon Blanc and Apasionado de José Pariente, which is a sweet wine).
