María Blasco

For being a Spanish scientist who is respected and known worldwide, she is an expert in biochemistry and molecular biology. She is a post doctorate researcher in the United States and since 2011 she heads the Spanish National Cancer Research Centre (CNIO), internationally acknowledged for its research work.
