Zagaleta was founded in 1991 and is located in the Benahavis hills at approximately 400 meters above sea level and surrounded by impressive views of the Mediterranean Sea, the Gibraltar Strait and the Ronda Mountains. A special micro-climate with mild temperatures in winter, a distinct natural backdrop, and an unbeatable sense of exclusivity, has made Zagaleta the perfect choice for creating your dream home.
The concept, as envisioned by the creators of this project, represented an exceptional challenge. Foremost, the founders were aiming to respect the environment in a way that could enable luxury homes to reside in complete harmony with nature. While more than 3,000 properties could have been erected, only 420 will be constructed when the project is complete. This means that residential areas will comprise only 31.87% of the whole estate a fact that will ease a vast area of unspoilt beauty. The model, with very low density, is completely innovative in the sector. The residential practices will not interfere with the sports activities, opposed to most projects that have been developed in our region.
