In the 1980s, ARCO’s founder and chairman, José Mª Ferrer, patented and brought to market the famous A-80 valve — the first quarter-turn angle valve. With more than 300 million units sold worldwide, this valve represented a true revolution in both the domestic and international markets.

Since then, ARCO has continued to introduce major innovations every year, establishing itself as the most innovative company in its sector, with 200 patents, 50 utility models, and more than 3,000 product references.

ARCO has a workforce of more than 400 people and two production facilities located in Valencia and Tunisia, with a combined production capacity of more than 33 million valves per year. The company currently exports 70% of its output.
