In the heart of Ribera del Duero and on the slopes of Valdeorras, we put into practice the most beautiful way of loving a place: we make honest, pure wines, with lasting elegance. Without stopping dreaming, working and enjoying the passion and the fruit of cultivating the vineyard.
It all started in Pedrosa de Duero in 1996, when Paco Rodero and Conchita Villa, partners in life and project, founded Pago de los Capellanes. For many years before, the Rodero family grown a privileged area called Capellanes. There, among vineyards, was where Paco and Conchita built the current winery. Since then, for more than 25 years, we have taken care of the Tinta Fina vines to express with their grapes the deep and timeless identity that defines our red wines.
In 2014, the search for new paths and the attraction of great white wines took us to the granite and slate slopes of Valdeorras. In this labyrinth of hills and valleys that overlook the river Sil, we found Godello vineyards full of character. This is how the wines of O Luar do Sil were born, as the essence of its landscape of origin, full of life and natural harmony.
